InCircuit Awarded Software Contract for Federal Surplus for the State of Texas

AUSTIN – September 1, 2009 – InCircuit Development Corporation, a leading provider of surplus management software, today announced that it has been awarded the contract for surplus management software for the state of Texas. InCircuit will supply its Surplus Management Software (SMS) for the state’s Federal Surplus Property program, a division of the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC).

The TFC manages the disposition of surplus and salvage property donated to the state by federal GSA programs. Program participants pay handling fees for surplus property which cover the agency's operating costs and are a fraction of the price of comparable items on the open market. In order to maintain transparency and eliminate the possibility for abuse, TFC is subject to rigorous reporting both while holding the surplus property and after it has been donated.

InCircuit is the only software with comprehensive functionality for the GSA Surplus Property program. InCircuit's unique applications track every metric required by the federal government, and automate all compliance reporting. InCircuit streamlines the processes involved with features including automated GSA transfers; receiving and sales tracking; account certification management; and detailed utilization and inspection tracking.

With over 15 years of experience, InCircuit has customized its Surplus Management Software to the unique needs of surplus managers nationwide. State governments, universities, municipalities or other institutions interested in asset management, surplus management, inventory management or other customizable management software products offered by InCircuit, should call 800-963-1950 x1 or visit www.InCircuit.com.
